Congratulations to Michelle Baros! In Spring 2019, she earned her BS in Management—more than thirty years after she first enrolled at MSU Denver.
Her grandfather relocated from the historic Auraria neighborhood to help make way for the Auraria campus, so Michelle was eligible for the Displaced Aurarian Scholarship, covering her tuition and fees. This enabled her go back to school full-time and complete her degree.
After becoming a finalist in the 7-Eleven W.E. Take the Lead contest for female entrepreneurs, she will open her own store in Arvada this summer.
